Principal- David Brand
David is the Principal Consultant and sole owner of MCTK Consulting.
After graduating college with BS degrees in Chemistry and Biology, David worked for Texas Instruments (TI) for 4 years managing their Analytical Laboratories in support of their wafer fab operations in Dallas. While at TI, he completed a MSc in Industrial Chemistry and got deeply involved in the development of their LIMS platform. The work on the LIMS led him to join Laboratory MicroSystems (LMS) as their Chief Operating Officer where he stayed for 4 years culminating in the sale of the company.
After leaving LMS, David joined the Teradata Corporation where he worked for 26 years in a variety of customer-facing roles ending in the position of Principal Solution Architect. While at Teradata, he completed his MBA and supported some of the company’s largest and most complex clients including Travelocity, USPS, Nike, Marathon Petroleum, ConocoPhillips, Halliburton, Entergy, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Marathon Petroleum, Dell Computers, SiriusXM and TelevisaUnivision.
David lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Jo. When not leading MCTK Consulting, he can usually be found on a tennis court or visiting one of his 4 adult children.
